Each year, local churches, civic groups, and business work together to offer the Community Christmas Dinner. ¬†Takeout or Dine-in meals are provided along with gifts for the children, live entertainment, music, a professional family photo — and a visit from Santa and Mrs Clause! ¬†Find out more or join the team!

Reaching the world begins at home. Through a variety of ministry partners and mission organizations we seek to meet the needs of people in our community. The members of South Valley are generous – with their finances and their time. Together, we are making a difference in our community and nation.

Local Partners

Crossroads Pregnancy Center: Crossroads Pregnancy Center seeks to affirm the value of human life by addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women and families facing crucial decisions surrounding unplanned pregnancy.

Kings County Jail Chaplain: Bibles and Christian resources are provided to those incarcerated at the Kings County Jail.

Kings Gospel Mission: At KGM it is our mission to give the homeless men of Kings County a helping hand UP into God centered healing, self sufficiency, and then eventually giving back to their community.

Lemoore Christian Aid: Established in 1985, LCA provides food, clothing, and household items to those in need in Lemoore.

ReNewed Thrift Store: Located in down-town Lemoore, ReNewed offers new and lightly used clothing and household items and very low prices. All of the proceeds are used to purchase food that is then given freely to the poor. Volunteers are always welcome. Call 559-924-RENU (7368) for more information

Soup Kitchen: A team of volunteers from South Valley provides food each week to hundreds of individuals in Hanford. The soup kitchen operates out of the Episcopal Church.  Contact Bennie Harrell at (559) 280-5628 for more information,

Valley Hope Counseling Services: Trained counselors help those with personal and relational issues. Services are provided on a donation basis.

Youth For Christ: A ministry of Campus Crusade, YFC offers and variety of programs and services for the youth in our community.

Regional Partners

Family Life Ministries (Randy and Nedra Sharp): A ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, FLM helps build strong families through a variety of events and resources – including the “Weekend to Remember” marriage conferences.

Growing Healthy Churches: Our mission is to grow healthy churches by networking, resourcing and encouraging church leaders, congregations, and denominations in the areas of growth, health, transformation and church planting.

Navigators Military Ministry: An international, interdenominational Christian ministry that helps people grow in Jesus Christ as they navigate through life. The military ministry focuses on the courageous men and women of all races and ranks following Jesus, representing Him through relationships where they live, work, and train for war, both at home and on deployment.

Sugar Pine Christian Camps: Impacting lives for Christ through exceptional camping experiences. Nestled in the beautiful Sierra Mountains just south of Yosemite National Park, Camp Sugar Pine offers children, youth, and family camps.

Tulare/Kings Right To Life: Located in Visalia, California, Tulare-Kings Right to Life is a part of the largest local pro-life organization west of the Mississippi. Over 4500 volunteers and donors work to create an environment of life.
